Share of citizens who communicate in everyday life in Ukrainian language should increase to 80% by 2028 – Program for approval of national identity
The state targeted social program for the approval of Ukrainian national and civic identity assumes an increase to 80% of the share of citizens who communicate in everyday life in the Ukrainian language by 2028.
In particular, among the expected results of the implementation of the State Program for the approval of Ukrainian national and civic identity is an increase to 80% of the proportion of citizens who, according to sociological research, speak and communicate in Ukrainian in everyday life.
It is also expected that the share of citizens who are proud of their Ukrainian origin and citizenship should increase to 75%.
In addition, the number of citizens who are ready to defend the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine with weapons in their hands is expected to grow (the proportion is not specified).
Among other things, the program should increase the level of media culture and media literacy of the population.
As reported, on February 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the concept of a state targeted social program for the approval of Ukrainian national and civic identity for the period up to 2028.
