URCS trains scientists-members of expedition to Antarctica to provide first aid

Instructors from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) taught how to provide first premedical care scientists-members of the expedition to Antarctica.
"A team of scientists going on a business trip to Antarctica for a year and a half received first aid training from instructors of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in Kyiv," the URCS reported on Facebook.
The training program is designed in such a way that 60% of the training consists of mandatory practical training: recovery position, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bleeding control, and assistance with injuries.
The URCS emphasized that first aid skills are vital when scientists work in the difficult conditions of the southern continent.
