First Lady Olena Zelenska's Foundation and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine handed over 50 evacuation ambulances to doctors from the government of the United Arab Emirates, the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state reports.

"The Olena Zelenska Foundation and the Ministry of Health handed over 50 evacuation ambulances to doctors from the UAE government," reads a message on the official website of the President of Ukraine on Tuesday.

Reportedly, 27 of these cars arrived in Ukraine. "The first batch of special transport in the amount of 23 units arrived in our country at the end of 2023. Thus, humanitarian aid from the UAE in the form of ambulances in total reached 50 units," the message states.

The president's wife expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian Embassy in the UAE for assistance in implementing the project.

As noted in the message, all vehicles are distributed to regions that need special transport for medical evacuation and assistance the most. The donated ambulances are equipped with everything necessary for emergency medical care and the fastest possible evacuation of patients, even in off-road conditions.
