Zelenskyy: I'd not advise experimenting with assistance to Ukraine, since there will be big crisis

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would not advise the United States and the European Union to experiment with delaying aid to repel Russian aggression, since a global crisis could start in the world.

"To be honest, I would not advise everyone to experiment, as it is a terrible experiment to delay with this or that help. The problem is that we sometimes even call 'help,' because not everyone, unfortunately, realizes that it is security not only of Ukraine. Yes, of the majority of Ukrainian people. But this is also the security of the European continent, which will, of course, have an impact on security on all continents. And is already having an impact," he said at a meeting with the International Media Council in Davos.

In particular, according to him, "Russia's blockade of the Black Sea brought many states dumping pricing policies in the agro-industrial complex, and some states were simply left without bread."

"Strikes on our energy system. Here's an example. Ukraine joined the European network. What did this mean? This was a way out for many European countries to have energy resources after dumping prices that Russia created - this was a way to get cheap electricity. This is also very would greatly help just people in Europe. Ordinary people," the president said.

"Therefore, not helping Ukraine is not helping many continents, where chaos can be sown due to hunger or other things," Zelenskyy said.

Answering the question of what will happen if Ukraine does not receive the expected assistance, Zelenskyy said this will affect even greater mortality among the Ukrainian population and lead to a global crisis in the world.

"We will be weakened on the battlefield. We will have a large artillery deficit. We will have a very large aeroprotection deficit. This means that we will not be able to repel ballistic missile attacks. So there will be a large number of killings and a large number of wounded people," he said.

"[Next] there will be a big crisis. Now there is a war, and there will be a big crisis. Since without the help of the United States, without the help of the European Union, Ukraine, of course, will continue to fight, but Ukraine will be weaker, and this will be an opportunity for Russia capture us. And as soon as they capture us, believe me, it will be a war between NATO and Russia. I believe, frankly speaking, that Putin really wants this," Zelenskyy said.
