Ukrainian FM to visit Brussels on Nov 28-29

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba is to be in Brussels (Belgium) on a visit on November 28-29, the press service of the Ministry reports.

"The purpose of the visit is to mobilize political and military support from EU and NATO member states, promote Ukraine's accession to both organizations, in particular in the context of preparations for the next meeting of the European Council in December, as well as the integration of the defense industries of Ukraine and NATO, accelerating production and supply weapons and ammunition for Ukrainian soldiers,” the message says.

According to the visit plan, on Tuesday, November 28, Kuleba will hold talks with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, make a speech at the opening of a conference on responsibility for Russian crimes in the European Parliament, and also open the VR exhibition Living the war.

On Wednesday, November 29, the minister will take part in the first meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of foreign ministers, which will take place at NATO headquarters as part of the meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of the Alliance member states.

Kuleba will inform NATO allies about the current situation at the front and the priority military needs of Ukraine, and will discuss the adapted Annual National Program for 2024 in the light of preparations for the NATO Washington Summit.

The Minister will also hold a number of bilateral meetings in Brussels, in particular with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and with the foreign ministers of the Alliance member states.
