The Buk-M1 air defense system was destroyed, the total enemy losses in the task force of the Operational Strategic Group of Forces Tavria for the second day in a row amounted to about 700 people, Commander of the Tavria task force Oleksandr Tarnavsky said.

"In Tavria direction, the invaders carried out 16 airstrikes, carried out 43 military clashes and carried out 762 artillery shelling," he said in his Telegram channel on Friday.

Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding the defense in Avdiivka direction, Tarnavsky said.

The total enemy losses were 675 people.

"Some 22 units of military equipment were destroyed. In particular, two tanks, eight armored fighting vehicles, three artillery systems, an air defense system, a UAV, seven vehicles. Another 37 units of enemy equipment were damaged," according to the statement.

At the same time, the offensive operation in Melitopol direction continues.
