Ukraine is taking part in the Summit of the European Political Community in Spain, important meetings will be held, as well as discussions on strengthening air defense and food security, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"Granada, Spain. The Summit of the European political community. Ukraine, along with other nations, participates in our common European home for the sake of security and stability on the continent. There will be work in joint formats and important bilateral meetings," Zelenskyy wrote on the Telegram channel on Thursday.

The President noted that the key before the winter for Ukraine is to strengthen air defense, for this there is a basis for new agreements with partners.

"We are preparing to confirm and implement them," Zelenskyy stressed.

He also said that Ukraine has weighty proposals to strengthen the security architecture that exists in Europe, including regional ones.

"Special attention is paid to the Black Sea region and joint work for global food security and protection of freedom of navigation. This day should be fruitful for Ukraine and the whole of Europe," the head of the Ukrainian state summed up.
