Since March 18, the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals (DGF) has begun paying out guaranteed compensation in the amount of UAH 200,000 to Industrial Investment Bank depositors, the press service of the regulator reported on Friday.

According to the report, in order to receive funds, depositors can apply with an identity document and an identification number to the Fund's agent banks - Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank, Kredobank, Pravex Bank, Alfa Bank, PUMB, TASkombank, Idea Bank, Pivdenny Bank, as well as Universal Bank.

Reimbursement of funds to depositors is carried out in the amount of the deposit, including interest accrued at the end of the day preceding the day of the start of the procedure for withdrawing the bank from the market, but not more than UAH 200,000, regardless of the number of deposits in one bank, the press release says.

As reported, on February 25, the National Bank of Ukraine revoked a banking license and liquidated banks under control of the Russian Federation: JSC International Reserve Bank (formerly JSC Sberbank) and Joint Stock Commercial Industrial Investment Bank (PJSC Prominvestbank), which is 99.77% owned by PJSC Sberbank of Russia and the State Development Corporation VEB.RF.
