Mayor of Energodar, Zaporizhia region, Dmytro Orlov, announces the ceasefire from 09:00 Wednesday and the organization of a humanitarian corridor from Zaporizhia to Energodar under the auspices of the Red Cross, and a "green corridor" - for the evacuation of population to the city of Zaporizhia.

"To all residents of Energodar, neighboring villages of Vasylivsky, Kamianka-Dniprovsky, V.-Bilozersky districts!!! Today, March 9, under the auspices of the Red Cross, a humanitarian corridor is being organized from Zaporizhia to Energodar, and a green corridor - for the evacuation of the population - to the city of Zaporizhia! !! From 9:00 a.m., a ceasefire has been declared," the mayor said in a message on his telegram channel.

According to him, approximately from 12.00 to 13.00, insulin, some medicines and dry food will be delivered to Energodar to further organize free social canteens in schools and support the most vulnerable categories of the population.

"Attention! On the way back, buses will pick up civilians who want to leave Energodar!!! The possibility has also been agreed to form a convoy of personal vehicles, which is allowed to follow the buses. All buses and personal vehicles must be marked a Red Cross in the upper right corner of the windshield! Take care of this in advance," the message says.

The mayor said that the place of gathering of citizens for evacuation is a section of the road on Kurchatov Street, from the "red" house to the embankment towards the walking canal. Gathering of residents of the city and residents of neighboring villages - approximately from 12:00 to 13:00.
