Georgia has already sent 140 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a government meeting on Monday.

"This process will continue, and we will send humanitarian aid to Ukraine," Garibashvili said.

He said that the Georgian ambassador in Kyiv moved to work in another Ukrainian city.

The prime minister expressed solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

"It is very difficult to look at what is happening in Ukraine. On behalf of our government, I want to express full solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. We support Ukraine at all levels, and we will continue this," the official said.
