Group DF of businessman Firtash transfers UAH 100 mln for humanitarian aid, businessman Yaroslavsky selling his yacht
Dmytro Firtash's Group DF transferred UAH 100 million to special accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, the company has reported.
"The first tranche of aid is to support Ukrainians whose homes have been destroyed and those who are forced to leave their homes today," Board Chairman of Group DF Dmytro Firtash is quoted in the release.
Businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky wrote on Facebook on Thursday that his DCH group is starting a humanitarian program for Kharkiv.
"The first contribution to the restoration of the destroyed city will be the money from the sale of my yacht Kaiser. There will be no time for it anymore. We have to work," he said.
Earlier, on March 1, DCH announced the transfer of UAH 25 million to the Kharkiv budget to provide hospitals with everything they need.
On the superyachtfan.com resource, the 60-meter yach Kaiser t, built in 2011 by the German Abeking & Rasmussen, is estimated at $50 million.
