Tymoshenko calls on voters not to see exit polls as last resort

Candidate to the post of the President of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has called on voters and her team not to recognize the exit poll data, saying that they are the tool for manipulations.

"I call not to see the exit polls [as last resort]… All these paid exit polls were aimed at disorganizing our team during the election process," she said on ICTV channel on Sunday.

Tymoshenko also called on her supporters to protect election commissions from provocations during the night.

"I think that we have enough observers to protect the outcome of the election," she said.

Tymoshenko also said that exit poll data, which indicate that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko reaches the second round of the presidential elections, do not correspond to reality.

“We are convinced in the figures and facts that the exit polls, which now so pompously announce the entry of Petro Poroshenko into the second round, according to our estimates and studies, are untrue. These are absolutely paid, manipulative exit polls, as manipulative and paid sociology was recently in Ukraine," Tymoshenko said at a press conference in her headquarters on Sunday evening after the closure of polling stations.
