Klympush-Tsintsadze says pro-Russian candidate will not win elections in Ukraine in 2019

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has said she is confident that an openly pro-Russian candidate will not be able to win the elections in Ukraine in 2019.

"The year 2019 is an election year in Ukraine and Europe. The year 2019 is also the year of Brexit. Elections in Ukraine will be hot, but one thing is certain - an openly pro-Russian candidate will not win," she wrote on her Twitter account.

As for Brexit – Britain's withdrawal from the European Union - Klympush-Tsintsadze said: "We must not allow the EU to into a bunch of Lilliputians."
