The Health Ministry of Ukraine has put the draft list of immunobiological preparations and sera for patients with communicable diseases accompanied by high death rate up for public discussion.

This concerns the preparations to treat the following diseases: diphtheria, rabies, tetanus, botulism and malaria, which will be procured via international organizations using the 2018 budget funds.

Proposals can be submitted before February 20.

The 2018 national budget announced UAH 5.9 billion for procurement of medicines, medical products and immunobiological preparations.

Earlier Deputy Health Minister Olha Stefanishyna said that the ministry is mulling the switch of the country to long-term planning for supplies of vaccines from 2018.
