No conflicts or clashes were recorded during mass rallies held in central Kyiv on Sunday, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's liaison department said.

"No conflicts or clashes were recorded," First Deputy Interior Minister Serhiy Yarovy said on Sunday.

According to police estimates, some 2,500 people took part in a March for the Future organized by supporters of a former president of Georgia and now leader of the New Forces Movement, Mikheil Saakashvili, who took to the streets to criticize Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. A thousand people took part in a car rally organized by Auto Euro Force civic movement to demand a lower tax on imported vehicles.

"Around 3,500 citizens took part in mass events in the central part of the capital, 2,500 of them in the March for the Future and 1,000 in the Auto Euro Force. In all, some 2,000 National Police and National Guard officers were providing public order," Yarovy said.
