Finance minister confirms plans to reorganize fiscal service into two legal entities
Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk has confirmed plans to reorganize the State Fiscal Service into two legal entities.
"We will accelerate the reform of the State Fiscal Service. We will create a single legal entity for customs and a separate legal entity for the taxes to remove corruption in the areas. After that, we will have the opportunity to attract new people, because they will believe in this reform, not in cosmetic changes," Danyliuk said in in parliament on last week.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has abolished the decision on reorganization of the State Fiscal Service on January 11. Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, commenting on the government's decision to abolish these documents, named the concept adopted in 2017 for reforming the State Fiscal Service non-substantive.
