Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has finished its pretrial investigation into ex Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky, who is accused of large-scale embezzlement and summoned him to appear in a Kyiv court to review materials in the case against him.

"In line with requirements of Article 290 of Ukraine's Procedural Code, You have the right to review the materials of the pretrial investigation personally, as well as with the assistance of lawyers…," the PGO notice says, adding Stavytsky will be able to daily review case materials at the address listed from January 18, 2017.

As earlier reported, on March 24, 2014 the Prosecutor General of Ukraine issued a wanted notice on Stavytsky. He is suspected of embezzlement on a large scale.

It was reported on Interpol website on August 4 that Stavytsky is wanted by Interpol.

Stavytsky was earlier sighted in Israel, where he reportedly changed his name to Rosenberg. Ukraine has asked Israel for assistance in locating the fugitive ex minister.
