Ukraine's Ministry of Health has established state-owned commercial enterprise Electronic Health to ensure the effective functioning and development of information and telecommunication electronic systems in the healthcare sector.

Corresponding ministry order No. 1597 dated December 14 has been posted on the agency's website.

The main tasks of Electronic Health are technical support for the creation, implementation and operation of software and information systems, maintenance of registers, the development of electronic database management systems, and the creation of necessary regulatory framework.

The enterprise will also coordinate the implementation of on-site software and hardware for the use of electronic systems in the healthcare sector.

According to the ministry order, the company will be located at 7 Hrushevskoho Street in Kyiv.
