Holovaty elected vice-president of Venice Commission's subcommittee on rule of law

Member of the Constitutional Commission, former Justice Minister of Ukraine (1995-1997), deputy of several convocations, Serhiy Holovaty, has been elected vice-president of the European Commission's Subcommittee for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission), Ukraine's permanent representative to the Council of Europe Dmytro Kuleba has said.

"Another good piece of news from Venice: one of Ukraine's best lawyers, Serhiy Holovaty, has been elected vice-president of the Venice Commission's subcommittee on the rule of law ... This is an international recognition of the authority of our specialist," Kuleba wrote on Facebook page on Saturday.

Holovaty, born in 1954, is the Ukrainian lawyer and politician, member of the Venice Commission.
