Russia able to put end to humanitarian crisis in Donbas by stopping intervention, supporting separatists, implementing Minsk accords – Volker

Special Representative of the U.S. Department of State for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker says about the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Donbas and stresses that the Russian Federation is able to put an end to it by stopping the intervention and providing support to the separatists operating in the region.

"Humanitarian crisis in eastern Ukraine is the worst in three years and is deteriorating. Russia can end this by ending intervention and support for so-called separatists, implementing Minsk Agreements," he said on Twitter on Friday.

Volker also published a photo from Vienna where the session of the 24th OSCE Ministerial Council is taking place, during which a focused discussion took place on the situation in Donbas with the participation of the Foreign Ministers and the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), as well as international humanitarian parties in particular the ICRC and the United Nations.
