OSCE patrol fails to enter Travneve because it wasn't cleared for mines

A patrol of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission did not visit the village of Travneve in Bakhmut district on the outskirts of Horlivka, Donetsk region, on Wednesday, because no mine clearance has been carried out there.

"SMM patrol was today south of Travneve. Ready to enter village. All are ready but no de-mining as UAF sappers said they had no orders to de-mine," the mission wrote on Twitter.

As reported, on November 27-28, illegal armed formations shelled the positions of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces near the village, and on Tuesday the visit of the OSCE SMM observers and representatives of the UN mission, who planned to monitor the humanitarian situation in the villages of Travneve and Hladosove, was disrupted.

On Wednesday, the JCCC said that militants had disconnected more than 200 residents of the village from power supply. Subdivisions of the ATO forces for military and civil cooperation issues distributed the food sets to residents of Travneve on November 28-29.
