President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, by his decree, has put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) dated September 13, 2017 "On the Supreme Commander-in-Chief General Headquarters." The decree of the president of Ukraine No. 313/2017 dated October 10, 2017 was made public on the presidential website on Tuesday. According to the decree, the corresponding decision of the National Security and Defense Council is only available "for official use." Also, by this decree, the president of Ukraine approved the provision on the Supreme Commander-in-Chief General Headquarters (attached, top secret). Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov, in accordance with the authority established by the Regulations on the Supreme High Command General Headquarters, is instructed to take organizational measures to ensure proper activity of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief General Headquarters in the event of its formation. Turchynov is also responsible for monitoring the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, which was put into force. This presidential decree comes into force on the day of its publication.
