Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko declares that Ukraine needs to establish production of new missiles, artillery systems, unmanned combat aerial and space reconnaissance equipment.

"We're facing important tasks in developing and setting up the production of new missile weapons, cruise missiles, modern high-precision artillery systems, precision munitions, unmanned combat aerial vehicles, space reconnaissance equipment," the president said before the parliament in his annual address in Kyiv on Thursday, September 7.

Ukraine had the capabilities to produce these types of weapons before but it did not use the opportunity, and only in recent years this production was established, Poroshenko added.
