Deposit Guarantee Fund prolongs liquidation of Bank Starokyivsky for a year

The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund has extended the liquidation of Bank Starokyivsky (Kyiv) for one year, until September 17, 2018, the fund reported on its website.

According to the report, the powers of bank liquidator Lubov Pantiniy have been extended for the same period.

As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in September 2014 decided to liquidate Bank Starokyivsky.

Bank Starokyivsky was founded in 1991. As of April 1, 2014 its shareholders were SVM Ltd. (21.75%), Comprice LLC (20.85%) and Komtech LLC (24.13%), PJSC MD-Garant (21.07%), D. Vilensky (7.83%), and Yu. Yaremenko (4.37%).

Bank Starokyivsky ranked 148th among 173 banks operating in the country as of July 1, 2014 in terms of total assets (UAH 413.806 million), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
