Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree conferring awards on several foreign nationals.

Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, former German President Joachim Wilhelm Gauck and former French President Francois Hollande are awarded Ukraine's Order of Freedom.

Lithuania's ex-premier Andrius Kubilius and Germany's Bundestag President Norbert Lammert are awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise.

In addition, several foreign nationals were honored with Ukraine's Order of Merit, 3rd class, Order of Princess Olga, 3rd class, and the Cross of Ivan Mazepa presidential badge of merit, while others were decorated with medals For Labor and Valor.
