Kyiv reports 28 attacks on Ukrainian army positions, 4 wounded troops
Over the past day illegal armed formations have violated ceasefire regime 28 times as a result of which three servicemen have been wounded and one sustained a combat trauma, the Anti-Terrorist operation staff said.
"Russian occupation groups activated shelling of Ukrainian positions with the use of heavy weapons in the ATO area at the end of the past day," the staff said on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
In the Mariupol sector, 122mm artillery shelled Ukrainian army positions on the approaches to Talakivka and Vodiane, the staff said. Ukrainian strongholds near Hnutove came under attack of mortars, and grenade launchers were fired in the vicinity of Pavlopil, it said.
In the Donetsk sector, the enemy fired 120mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machineguns, and small arms on the Avdiyivka industrial zone, the staff said, adding that positions near Luhanske, Troyitske, Zaitseve and the Butovka mine shelled as well.
In the Luhansk sector, Ukrainian army positions came under fire of mortars and grenade launchers near Novo-Oleksandrivka and Krymske.
