The National Agency on the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has informed Kharkiv regional governor Yulia Svitlychna that her deputy Yevhen Shakhnenko put misleading information in his e-declaration for 2015.

This decision was made at the agency's meeting, on Friday, July 28, the NAPC press service reported on Monday.

"According to the directive, deputy head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Yevhen Shakhnenko violated the provisions of paragraphs 2 and 7 of Article 46 of the Ukrainian law on the prevention of corruption and put unreliable information in his declaration," the agency said.

NAPC demands Svitlychna should take steps so that Shakhnenko should provide reliable information in the e-declaration for 2015.

"The directive is mandatory for execution," the agency said.
