Poroshenko, Lukashenko to meet in Kyiv, make joint statement on July 21

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay an official visit to Ukraine on July 20-21, within the framework of which he will hold a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

On Friday, July 21, an official meeting of the two presidents will take place on Bankova Street, the website of the Ukrainian president said.

After the meeting, Poroshenko and Lukashenko will make a statement for the media.

As the press service of the Belarusian president reported earlier, the presidents would discuss the development of political, trade-economic and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Ukraine. The settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine is in the agenda of the meeting.

It is expected that after the talks in the presence of the presidents of the two countries a number of documents will be signed that relate to cooperation in the economy, scientific and technical area, as well as in the spheres of culture and interethnic relations.

In addition, on July 21, the Ukrainian-Belarusian Economic Forum will take place in Kyiv with the participation of the presidents of the two countries.
