EU Foreign Affairs Council to extend sanctions against Russia for one year over Crimea, Sevastopol

The EU Foreign Affairs Council will extend sanctions against Russia for the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol for one year until June 23, 2018, according to the documents distributed at a council session of the EU foreign ministries in Brussels on Thursday.

The EU Foreign Affairs Council will meet in Luxembourg on June 19.

The measures concern EU citizens, companies established in the EU and apply only in the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, a communique said.
