Cabinet to approve main guidelines for military equipment development on Wednesday

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting on June 14 intends to approve the main guidelines for the development of weapons and military equipment for a long-term period.

According to the agenda of the meeting posted on the government's website, this issue will be presented at the meeting by Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak.

The Cabinet intends to approve a plan of measures for the implementation of the Concept for the Development of the Electronic Services System in Ukraine for 2017–2018.

The government also plans to confirm state guarantees for the obligations of PJSC "Ukrainian Railways" and approve the composition of the supervisory board of the State Specialized Financial Institution "State Fund for Assistance to Youth for Housing Construction."

The Cabinet also plans to approve a draft agreement with the government of Japan on sending experts from the Japan International Cooperation Agency to develop a modernization project for the Bortnychi Aeration Station.

It is planned to approve academic scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to students of higher educational institutions and post-graduate students.

The government plans to change the composition of the tender commission for the selection of candidates for the posts of members of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

Also, the Cabinet intends to approve the draft presidential decree on declaring the water area of the Azov Sea as the 'Prymorsky' hydrological reserve of national importance.

In addition, the government intends to consider personnel issues.
