Militants shell ATO forces positions 60 times on Sunday, two servicemen wounded - HQ

The current situation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone remains tense, with militants shelling the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 60 times on Sunday, as a result of which two Ukrainian servicemen were injured, the ATO headquarters' press center reported.

Militants shelled the Prymorsky sector 28 times, including strongholds points near Vodiane using armored vehicles, anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers and small arms; Talakivka and Maryinka, Hnutove and Lebedynsky using infantry weapons, Krasnohorivka using 82mm-caliber mortars and tank guns, Shyrokyno using 82mm-caliber mortars.

In the Donetsk sector, the ATO forces positions were shelled 12 times, mainly the suburbs of Avdiyivka, where the enemy used grenade launchers and small arms. Verkhniotoretske, Opytne, Troyitskoe were shelled from mortars of the 82mm caliber. The militants fired on Zaitseve using infantry fighting vehicles and large-caliber machine guns from their positions in the temporarily occupied Horlivka.

On the Luhansk sector, militants carried out 20 shelling, mostly in the evening. Krymske, Katerynovka, Novoaleksandrivske and Bohuslavske were shelled mortars of 120mm and 82mm caliber, small arms and grenade launchers. Stanytsia Luganska and Novozvanivka was shelled from infantry armament.
