Almost 30 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas reported on Wed, one Ukrainian soldier wounded

Twenty-seven attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas were reported from 00:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday, February 22; one Ukrainian soldier was wounded amid the shelling, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters said.

"The Russian occupation forces continued shelling our positions, as the number of barrages has been on the decline," the ATO HQ press center wrote on Facebook on Wednesday evening.

Russia's hybrid military forces used portable single barreled Grad P (Partisan) systems, proscribed 122mm artillery systems and mortars of various calibers to shell the village of Vodiane in the Mariupol sector. The villages of Lebedynske and Shyrokyne also came under mortar fire. They fired large-caliber machine guns and small arms on the villages of Hnutove and Pavlopil.

The village of Luhanske in the Donetsk sector came under 82mm mortar fire. The occupiers used grenade launchers of various systems and small arms to fire on the villages of Opytne, Pisky, Zaitseve, and Luhanske. Luhanske was also attacked by enemy infantry fighting vehicles, the ATO HQ said.
