Kyiv reports 51 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in past 24 hours

The Donbas militants launched 51 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in the past 24 hours, the Anti-Terrorist operation (ATO) staff said on Monday.

In the Mariupol sector, the militants fired grenade launchers and small arms on Pavlopil, Krasnohorivka, Hnutove and Shyrokyne, and 120mm and 82mm mortars were used against Maryinka, Hnutove, Shyrokyne, Vodiane and Talakivka, the staff said. According to it, Shyrokyne came under attack of 122mm tube artillery, while an infantry combat vehicle engaged in Maryinka and a tank in Talakivka.

In the Luhansk sector, grenade launchers and small arms were fired on Novozvanivka, Lopaskyne and Stanytsia Luhanska, and mortars shelled Troyitske, the staff said.

In the Donetsk sector, the militants fired 122mm artillery and infantry combat vehicle weapons on Luhanske, 82mm mortars on Avdiyivka, Mayorsk and Luhanske, and small arms and grenade launchers on Luhanske, Zaitseve and Avdiyivka, the staff said.

Three Ukrainian servicemen suffered injuries during the attacks.
