NACP fails to detect signs violation of law by finance minister

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention has not detected signs of violation of anti-corruption legislation by Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk related to the conflict of interests in owning companies or corporate rights and holding more than one office.

The press service of NACP received a request from MP Oleh Liashko to examine the signs of violation of anti-corruption legislation by Danyliuk. NACP studied the information on the transfer of Danyliuk's corporate rights in Rurik Real Estate Investment Limited and CEE Investments & Advisory LLP to blind trust management and the information that Danyliuk is allegedly a member of the board, other executive or supervisory boards of these companies.

NACP also examined information if the minister is among the founder (participants) of Rurik Investment LLC, Ksaverovska KV LLC, Ukrtorhservice LLC, Euro-echo-PARK LLC and OMP LLC.

Danyliuk presented written explanations to NACP.

"NACP has not revealed violation of legislation… in actions of Danyliuk," the agency said.
