Mushka appointed Ukraine's ambassador to Slovakia

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree to appoint diplomat Yuriy Mushka to the post of Ukraine's Ambassador to the Slovak Republic

Relevant decree No. 520/2016 was signed and published on November 25.

Mushka was born on September 8, 1964, in Berehove, Zakarpattia region. He graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko in 1991. The same year he began his career in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

From late 2003 to 2006, Mushka served as Ukraine's ambassador to Hungary, from 2006 to 2008 as the ambassador of Ukraine to South Korea. From 2010 to 2014, he was again Ukrainian ambassador to Hungary. Prior to his latest appointment, Mushka was ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ukraine.
