"Ukraine needs to learn two important lessons from the presidential elections in the United States: the first one is how adequately victory is taken, defeat is taken, how they congratulate on victory. Ukrainian politicians have to learn such lessons. The second key lesson is that the institutional memory of all power branches is working in America. Foreign policy is not changed depending on changes in the presidential administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, etc. I believe this position will be maintained in future," she said.

The official also noted the Ukrainian parliament has always held a close dialogue with the U.S. Congress.
