New shellings of the Ukrainian army's positions, including with the use of sniper weapons and mortars, were recorded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas as of 06.00 p.m. on Friday, the ATO headquarters said.

Fire on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions was opened 11 times on Friday, the press service of the ATO headquarters said on Facebook.

"In the Mariupol sector the enemy breached the regime of calm using small arms, sniper weapons and mortars in the vicinity of Mayinka, Pavlopil, Starohnativka and Talakivka," the press service said.

In the Donetsk sector the facts of the ceasefire regime violations on the enemy's part were recorded in Avdiyivka, Novoselivka and Verkhniotoretske, the press service said. In particular, apart from small arms, the enemy used a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft mount near Avdiyivka, the headquarters said.

In the Luhansk sector the enemy conducted the armed provocations near Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka, firing from an 82mm mortar and an anti-aircraft mount, the press service said.

"Despite the provocations, the Ukrainian Armed Forces strictly observe the Minsk Agreements," the press service said.
