Over 1,400 ATO soldiers receive land in Dnipropetrovsk region - Reznychenko

More than 1,400 participants in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine have received certificates of ownership of land in Dnipropetrovsk region, while about 5,500 are in the process of document registration, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznychenko has said.

"Our position is clear: each ATO participant must freely receive land guaranteed by the state. To make the process easier for the guys, Dnipropetrovsk region opened a single window for registration of land and created an atlas of vacant land. This approach yields results. Over 1,400 soldiers have already received land plots in the cities and districts of the region, another 5,500 are at the stage of document registration," Reznychenko said.

Formalization of project documentation for ATO fighters is free. These costs will be paid from the regional budget.

"ATO fighters have already received about 2,400 hectares of land mainly for agriculture or gardening in Dnipropetrovsk region. There are also plots for housing construction," he said.

As reported, more than 20,000 residents of Dnipropetrovsk region were mobilized for the ATO in Donbas.
