Changes to Constitution in part of judicial reform needed to successfully complete 'Maidan' cases – Poroshenko

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is convinced that a judicial reform will become a key to a successful investigation into the cases of activists of the Revolution of Dignity.

"The main thing that is necessary for the successful completion of the Maidan cases is to finally pass changes to the Constitution in terms of the judicial reform, which provides for the deep cleaning of courts," the head of state said.

"A failure of the judicial reform, if it does not collect 300 votes in the parliament, is the only thing that can prevent the punishment of those guilty. The largest resistance, sabotage and mutual responsibility for the punishment of those responsible for the Maidan crimes is in the judicial system, because the system is mainly formed by those who should be brought to justice now," Poroshenko stressed.
