Minsk process in jeopardy, must be discussed - Klimkin

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said that the Minsk process is in jeopardy.

"Now the entire Minsk process, especially the ceasefire, is without doubt in jeopardy, and we must talk about this," he said on Ukraine Today (uatoday.tv) on Thursday evening.

Klimkin said that the Ukrainian authorities have information on the movements of troops in the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas, as well as on armaments which have been deployed at the region's industrial facilities.

"We still aren't sure about this process. How can we be sure without complete access to Donbas? If every day we have incidents and we know about this, about the arms, the heavy weapons as well, hidden at the coalmines and industrial facilities, if we have information about the movements of troops in Donbas, we can't speak about a real ceasefire," he said.

Klimkin added that his diplomatic colleagues were informed about the dangerous situation in Donbas ahead of the upcoming meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council of EU Member States.
