The situation was tense in Donbas on Monday evening and overnight into Tuesday, the press center of the Ukrainian army operation headquarters reported on its Facebook account.

According to the press center, militants fired small arms on the Ukrainian army's positions near Pisky on three occasions from 11:15 p.m. to 11:50 p.m. Ukrainian servicemen also came under fire near Avdiyivka at midnight.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces did not return fire, the press center added, declining to say whether any Ukrainian soldiers were killed or injured as a result of these strikes.
