The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has announced its support for the Koktebel Jazz Festival which will take place in Zatoka, a small beach resort just south of Odesa, on August 23-30.

"The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv is lending its support to the festival by sponsoring the participation of New York-based Paris Monster, which performs on August 22 in Odesa and then at the opening of the festival in Zatoka on August 23," the embassy said on its Facebook page on Friday.

According to the embassy, this festival is one of Ukraine's biggest music festivals which will gather around 50 bands and performers from Ukraine, Europe and the United States.
