Poroshenko fires Ukrainian Air Force Commander, relegates him to reserve
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree on firing General Yuriy Baidak from the position of Ukrainian Air Force Commander and delegating him to the reserve from active military duty, the President's press service reported.
"To dismiss Colonel-General Yuriy Avarmovych Baidak from the position of Ukrainian Air Force Commander," reads the decree No. 415/2015.
"To delegate Colonel-General Yuriy Avarmovych Baidak from active military duty to the reserve with the right to wear uniform due to [his] health condition," reads the decree.
