The press center of the Ukrainian military operation said Ukrainian forces' positions in eastern Ukraine had been shelled 17 times from enemy positions.

Five attacks were launched with 120-millimeter mortars against Ukrainian forces' positions near the town of Khimik (Avdiyivka), Kamyanka, Pavlopil and Pisky.

The Ukrainian positions in the towns of Vodyane, Pisky and Opytne were also shelled with 122-millimeter artillery systems, it said.

Ukrainian positions were targeted in an attack with automatic grenade launchers, large-caliber submachine guns and fire arms outside Shyrokyne, the press center said.
