OSCE mission confirms Debaltseve shelled by Grads from rebel-controlled Horlivka, 3 civilians killed, 12 injured

The OSCE special monitoring mission (SMM) has confirmed that the town of Debaltseve was shelled by Grad multiple rocket launchers from the direction of rebel-controlled Horlivka on January 19, three civilians were killed and twelve injured.

"The SMM saw at least seven unexploded rockets (UXOs). A crater analysis performed by the SMM showed that the Grad rockets came from a western direction, the direction of 'DPR'-controlled Horlivka," the report reads.

According to Ukrainian Armed Forces and Russian Federation Armed Forces representatives at the joint center for control and coordination headquarters, at 07:40, on January 19, at least 30 Grad rockets hit the centre of Debaltseve (55km north-east of Donetsk) killing three civilians and wounding twelve.

The SMM also said that the rockets had caused significant damage to buildings and that the affected area covered approximately one square kilometer.
