Ukraine, Lithuania deal on military-technical cooperation – Poroshenko

Ukraine and Lithuania on Monday agreed to cooperate in the military-technical cooperation, in particular, regarding supplies of the arms to Ukrainian soldiers, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko reported.

"We arranged about the military-technical cooperation, definite supplies of the definite military equipment for Ukraine Armed Forces. I think that this is a specific demonstration of the support," the president said during the joint press conference with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite in Kyiv on Monday.

Besides, during the seventh session of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania on Monday, the parties discussed cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania in the process of Ukraine's European integration, bilateral cooperation in the international organizations such as the UN, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and NATO, interaction in the sphere of security and defense, cyber and information security and military-technical cooperation. Particular attention has been paid to the issues of energy security and cooperation in the sphere of energy supply and energy efficiency, the president's press service said.
