Twelve people were wounded in Donetsk last weekend – city administration

Twelve people sustained shrapnel wounds in Donetsk over the past weekend, the city council reported on its website on Monday.

Last night was tense, especially for residents of the Kuibyshevsky and Kyivsky districts, the city administration said. "Powerful salvo fire and explosions from heavy weapons were heard all night," the report says. The shelling also damaged three residential buildings and a garage.

Large-scale artillery shelling damaged gas supply chains on November 23. The explosions caused fires at some of the gas pipelines.

On Monday morning, the situation in Donetsk was calm and no reports of shelling in the city's districts have been received.

City infrastructure is working and artillery brigades are working on the damaged chains. As of November 24, 74 transformer substations and 25 boilers remained without power, and the number of people who had had their electricity supplies cut off exceeded the record (5,000).
