The National Guard will receive 50 mobile accommodation places and heating points as a part of the process of rearmament and purchase of new technical means for the Ukrainian army by the end of 2014, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.

"In general we'll purchase 50 such [accommodation and heating] points by the end of 2014," he said during the display of such points on the territory of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Kyiv.

The premier said that the National Guard already acquired 15 such points.

According to Yatseniuk, this process launched few months ago, but the present project benefits from the previous one in price, mobility and transformation characteristics.

The aforementioned accommodation and heating points meant for the second defense line in the anti-terrorist operation's zone, as well as for challenge in the case of emergency in the country.

Moreover, the premier reported that similar heating points would be bought for the Defense Ministry as well, but this will be completely another type of project, since the ministry needs more fortification points.

Besides, State Border Guard Service will get 41 heated houses in the frames of the US international technical assistance. The second batch of these houses is being unloaded in Illichivsk (Odesa region) now, he reported.
