Russia did not notify Ukraine of its intention to send another "humanitarian aid convoy" to Donetsk and Luhansk regions, National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko has said.

"The Ukrainian side received no official information, no official document in this regard," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

As reported, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said that Russia's fourth convoy of trucks carrying humanitarian supplies to the cities of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine was expected to depart on Tuesday.

"A convoy of up to 50 trucks of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia carrying humanitarian aid to the population of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions is expected to leave Noginsk [in the Moscow region] at 1500 p.m. on October 28, 2014," the ministry said.

Russia has already sent three humanitarian aid convoys to the conflict-torn regions in eastern Ukraine.

It was announced on September 24 that the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry was preparing to dispatch another aid convoy to these parts of Ukraine.
