Kharkiv, Luhansk, Zaporizhia rgns prefer Opposition Bloc

The Opposition Bloc is in the lead in Kharkiv and Luhansk regions, wins an overwhelming victory in Zaporizhia region and holds a majority in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, the Central Elections Commission said.

According to the Central Elections Commission's report on the count of votes in the countrywide (multi-mandate) electoral district based on the data posted by district elections commissions with 22.63% of electronic voting reports, the Opposition Bloc is leading in all the 14 districts of Kharkiv region where 25.47% of electronic voting reports have been processed, as well as gains a majority of votes in all districts of Luhansk region (7.30% of electronic voting reports).

The political force is highly successful in Zaporizhia region: it gained a majority of votes in eight districts while the Petro Poroshenko Block led in only one with 27.84% of votes counted.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, where 28.35% of votes have been counted, the Opposition Bloc is leading in ten districts and the Petro Poroshenko block is leading in seven. In Donetsk region (12.06% of votes counted), the Opposition Bloc is the leader in six districts and the Petro Poroshenko Bloc in five.

In Odesa region, which has processed 19.52% of electronic voting results, the Opposition Bloc is victorious in four districts, and the Petro Poroshenko Block in seven districts. The Opposition Bloc is in the lead in one district and the Petro Poroshenko Block in five in Mykolaiv region, where 21.29% of protocols have been processed.

In other districts of Ukraine, the Petro Poroshenko Bloc and the People's Front are the leaders with differing numbers of votes between them, and other political forces are in the lead in a few districts.
